Certified Pilates Teacher
Diastasis Recti Recovery™
Sarah has devoted her professional life to empowering individuals to find wellness, self-determination and joy in their bodies. She has worked as a doula, nurse and midwife in the U.S. and with rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa and Haiti.
Sarah discovered Iyengar yoga in 2000, which inspired her exploration of movement systems. An injury in 2010 and the birth of her first child led Sarah to Classical Pilates and finally to the Gyrotonic Method, in which she came to fully embrace that integrated movement sustains us physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
Sarah is a gentle but empowering teacher with an extensive education in health and wellness. Working with her leaves me feeling strong, balanced and serene. ~June
